Treehouse is located near Alton, Illinois, in the southwestern region of the state. The wildlife center is about an hour north of St. Louis, Missouri, and about two hours south of Springfield, Illinois.
The Treehouse complex currently rests on 19 acres of beautiful rolling hills loaded with large oak and hickory trees. A 2,400 sq. ft. hospital building presides over the facility and is complemented by 36 outdoor cages, (including a 135' flight cage), which serve as temporary homes for wildlife in the process of rehabilitation, as well as homes for the permanent resident animals who live there.
